The Global Engagement & Empowerment Center (GEEC): The Department of External Relations and Alumni Engagement
Zanisha Premilien, a self-motivated leader, currently serves as the Deputy Chief of Staff at the Global Engagement & Empowerment Center (GEEC) and as Board Secretary for the UFCF. Before this role, she was Senior Ranking Director for Alumni Engagement & Advancement on the Junior Board of Directors (JBMs) for three and a half years.
An alumna of Evans High School, Zanisha is pursuing a Nursing degree at the Rassmussen University.
In her current position, Zanisha applies her passion for critical thinking to support various departments within the GEEC, including the Department of Giving & Advancement, the Department of Culture & Belonging, and the Department of External Relations and Alumni Engagement. She also directly oversees the development of our Junior Board Members (JBMs), collaborating closely with key leaders such as the Foundation’s CEO, Executive Director, First Vice President, Chairman & CFO, and Chief Advancement Officer.
Beyond her core responsibilities, Zanisha is pivotal in driving fundraising and grant-writing initiatives for the Department of Giving & Advancement. Her expertise encompasses educational program design and implementation, strategic partnership development, volunteer management, and workplace diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) training. With her diverse skill set and unwavering dedication, Zanisha significantly contributes to the Foundation’s mission, fostering its success and growth.
