A visionary leader and advocate for community empowerment, Zanisha Premilien is a driving force behind the United Foundation of Central Florida’s (UFCF) Global Engagement & Empowerment Center (GEEC). As Deputy Chief of Staff, she plays a key role in shaping strategic initiatives, fostering youth leadership, and advancing UFCF’s mission to uplift underserved communities. In addition to her leadership within GEEC, she serves as Board Secretary, ensuring strong governance and operational efficiency.

Zanisha’s commitment to education and leadership development is deeply personal. An Evans High School alumna, she is pursuing a Nursing degree at Rasmussen University and holds an Associate of Arts Degree from Valencia College. Her passion for public service, mentorship, and community engagement has propelled her into key leadership roles, including her three-and-a-half-year tenure as Senior Ranking Director for Alumni Engagement & Advancement on UFCF’s Junior Board of Directors (JBM).

She has been instrumental in expanding UFCF’s reach and impact, particularly through her work with the Department of Giving & Advancement, the Department of Culture & Belonging, and the Department of External Relations & Alumni Engagement. A strategic architect of youth leadership programs, she oversees the mentorship and development of Junior Board Members (JBMs), equipping the next generation of changemakers with the skills and confidence to lead.

Beyond her work in youth development, Zanisha collaborates with UFCF’s CEO/Executive Director, First Vice President, Chairman/CFO, and Chief Advancement Officer to enhance organizational capacity, community engagement, and philanthropic initiatives. She plays a key role in donor relations, fundraising, and grant writing, helping secure essential funding that fuels UFCF’s programs.

With a proven track record in nonprofit growth and community impact, Zanisha builds strategic partnerships with community leaders, businesses, and philanthropists to expand UFCF’s influence. She is a skilled fundraiser, program developer, and advocate for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), working to foster a more inclusive and equitable environment. She also mobilizes volunteers to strengthen community engagement, ensuring UFCF’s mission is sustained through active participation and support.

More than a leader, Zanisha is a catalyst for transformation. Through her strategic vision, hands-on leadership, and unwavering dedication, she continues to uplift underserved communities, strengthen UFCF’s mission, and create pathways for educational and professional success. Her holistic approach—rooted in advocacy, empowerment, and sustainability—ensures UFCF remains a pillar of opportunity for generations to come.
