About The United Foundation of Central Florida, Inc.
The United Foundation of Central Florida, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, operates as a public foundation focusing on early intervention leading to prevention. We address after-school needs, aim to increase our graduation rate, boost college attendance, tackle food insecurities, address the lack of affordable housing, enhance job skill sets, and reduce crime, among other objectives. Our emphasis on early intervention has been a cornerstone of our approach. Through the dedication of our Board of Directors, FLU Students, and volunteers, we have generated an economic impact of $18.3 Million for the Central Florida community. This impact translates to 163,458 hours of volunteerism and programming hours.
